Digital-Workshop zum Thema Cybermobbing! | KIDsmiling e.V.

Kinder und Jugendliche tauschen sich mehr und mehr im digitalen Raum aus. Soziale Medien wie YouTube, Instagram und Snapchat sind längst fester Bestandteil ihres sozialen Alltags. Doch welche Herausforderungen stellen sich den Kids in diesen Räumen?

Zu dieser Frage hat KIDsmiling in Kooperation mit der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) im Rahmen des Projekts „Gemeinsam.Demokratie.Gestalten“ einen Workshop zum Thema Cybermobbing durchgeführt. Vortragende waren dabei unter anderem der erfahrene Medienpädagoge Tobias Schmölders und die Kriminalkommissarin Elena Beerhenke. Sie beleuchteten für die 30 teilnehmenden Fachkräfte aus Jugendzentren, -einrichtungen, Werkstätten und Beratungsstellen aus Köln und Stuttgart, was Cybermobbing ist, welche rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen es gibt und wie präventive Arbeit mit jungen Menschen Cybermobbing eindämmen kann.

Die Resonanz auf den Workshop war durchweg positiv – die Fachkräfte waren optimistisch, dass sie die Ausführungen der beiden Experten in ihrem beruflichen Alltag in den Einrichtungen gewinnbringend für die Jugendlichen praktisch umsetzen können.
